For Kofi, true success was measured not simply by personal achievement, but by the difference one made in the lives of others. Through his generosity, wisdom, humility, and guidance, he opened doors, created opportunities, and encouraged people to pursue their aspirations despite adversity.
The Ohene Agyekum Foundation was established to carry this legacy forward, transforming Kofi’s values into meaningful opportunities that empower individuals to overcome barriers and achieve greater educational, personal, and economic independence.

Kofi Ohene Agyekum shared a deep bond with the people of Woraso and neighbouring communities, inspiring his lifelong commitment to improving livelihoods and expanding opportunities. Although he was unable to pursue university education himself, he dedicated his life to helping young people and adults achieve their educational aspirations.
In his honour, the Ohene Agyekum Foundation supports learners, expands access to education, and strengthens literacy, empowering individuals, families, and communities to achieve self-reliance and build sustainable futures.
